Todd Duncan (colleague who teaches physics and cosmology) and I will present a paper entitled Big History, Missing Physics, and Religion: Nagel’s Objective Idealism and the Problem of Explanation at a conference in Philadelphia in July.
Just before the total eclipse in August Todd Duncan and I visited Oregon State Penitentiary to do a presentation about the eclipse for the Asian Club.
I will be in Holden Village in July of this year doing a week long seminar on the ethical, legal, and social issues raised by genetic technologies. If you don't have a better gig at the time come join us.
